It has come to my attention that certain Target stores are no longer accepting Target coupons. I don't know if this means ALL coupons that are non-Target, but I know Target coupons are affected. This blows my $1.99 diapers idea out the window. :P I don't know the truth behind this, but the cause was someone using Target coupons intended for certain items and changing them into coupons you could use on anything in the store. I guess some Targets cannot tell a difference between their coupons and the fake coupons, so they've decided to stop taking all of the coupons.
If you happen to live near one of the Target stores that have decided to stop taking coupons, you will need to call the corporate office for Target. A few people who have called in said that the corporate office sent lots of coupons and gift cards the next day. And yes... coupons they can use. ;)
I do not know yet if the Target near where I live has stopped taking coupons, but I am headed there this weekend and I'll let you know. If you find out before I do, let me know. Some Targets ARE still accepting coupons, but not all stores are.
