Foods that are in season often sell for much less because of the abundance of it during that time of year. Another great bonus is that foods in season taste better because they're fresher. Foods tend to lose flavor when they are transported and refrigerated. Yet another great bonus is the variety. Instead of eating the same foods throughout the year, you'll end up with new, delicious foods on your plate every season.
